I believe each and every person has his or her own insecurities. Working at Dermacare gives me the opportunity to assist people in building their own self-confidence. Sometimes it just takes a little something extra to encourage people to take the next step in their lives, whether it be going to an interview or start dating again. Whatever it may be that our clients have held back on doing due to a physical insecurity, I am glad that I can help them get over these hurdles.
I believe that imperfection is beauty and people’s differences are what make us all unique. I can’t change the physicality of people, but I can enhance their own beauty, and that in itself is very rewarding.
Arizona State Licensed Aesthetician and Arizona State Certified Laser Technician. Fluent in Spanish
All through my high school years I had a long-lasting struggle with acne. I tried almost everything to get it under control - the newest fad of products, treatments, and antibiotics – but nothing seemed to work. This battle drove me to become a skin specialist, and sparked my desire to learn everything about the skin and how to professionally take care of it.
Becoming an aesthetician helped me clear my acne and keep it under control. Once I became a laser technician, I started getting rid of my acne scarring and improving my skin’s texture overall. Going through this personal battle with acne makes me passionate about helping others with their skin care issues. I take a personal interest in my work and in our clients to ensure that they too achieve their skin care goals, and the results show!
With a Bachelor of Science degree in both Biology and Marketing and more than nine years of experience in the plastic surgery field, Ms. Burton manages the overall operations at Dermacare, including overseeing the Dermacare team, coordinating Dr. Rod’s surgeries and pre and post operative consultations, designing sales and marketing strategies, and working hand-in-hand with clients to ensure that they receive the results they desire in a warm, friendly, and professional environment.
I joined Dermacare after working with a large corporate plastic surgery practice for four years because I love the more personalized higher quality care that our boutique practice provides. The most rewarding part about my job is helping people feel better about themselves and watching them go through the transformation process. On the outside, it may seem like plastic surgery is just for improving looks, but it’s actually a very personal mental and emotional journey. Knowing that on a daily basis I play a role in helping a client address his or her aesthetic concerns makes my job worthwhile. I truly love seeing the expression on our clients’ faces when they see their before and after pictures.
Helping a person feel better both inside and out is extremely rewarding, and everyone in the Dermacare family feels the same way. The unparalleled comradery among our team makes for a very comfortable and fun environment for us and our clients, and our commitment to taking the time to get to know our clients is second to none. Dermacare truly is a wonderful place to work, and to address one’s aesthetic goals. Come see us!

I love working at Dermacare because of our team - they feel like my second family. As I pursue a degree in the medical field (apart from my culinary one), working at Dermacare gives me the unique opportunity to see things that I could not experience anywhere else. Working with Dr. Rod has greatly expanded my knowledge of the medical field, as he is always taking the time to teach our team new and innovative services, procedures, and business practices.
It is an honor to be the first smiling impression of Dermacare, as I am passionate about seeing our clients achieve their aesthetic goals, whether that involves surgery, skin rejuvenation services, or just simply regularly using our awesome line of “Dr. Rod approved” skin care products. I enjoy working directly with our clients on a daily basis – they and Dr. Rod keep me on my toes, all while having fun and constantly learning with my Dermacare family!
A licensed medical assistant with multiple years of plastic surgery experience both in assisting in in-office surgeries and post-operative care.
I love watching people transform. Seeing people change from walking with their heads down to walking with their shoulders back and making eye contact is now my biggest reward. I always connect with every patient in some way, and I love to hear their stories about what brought them to Dermacare, and to hear how their stories have changed as a result of the services we provide. I truly love helping make people look and feel their very best every day!
